You know the feeling when you anticipate something wonderful for so long you can't even stand it?  You want to pee your pants from excitement, do a crazy happy dance, stomp your feet in frustration, cry from all the's the equivalent of knowing you're getting the one present you HAVE to have on Christmas.  You know you're getting it and you want it NOW!  But you have to wait until the 25th.

You hate everyone who has a smile on their face. You hate them with a passion.  You can't stand to see them in their happiness. You want nothing more than to wipe that blissful smile off their dirty rotten faces. You're miserable in your waiting and you want everyone to feel your pain. Time doesn't move any faster than it always does. It doesn't matter how much you beg, plead, pray, and bargain to your mom, dad, or God. Time doesn't care about you. It has it's own agenda: to move at its own pace and no one else's.

You think time has something against you. You think maybe you've done something to incur its wrath.  It's getting its revenge. You have to wait longer than anyone else. Every moment of anticipation is agonizing.  It's awful.

That's how I feel when my husband leaves. I can't wait until he gets back. He left this morning at 9:30 and I won't see him for several weeks.

That's exactly what I yelled as I ran across the parking garage. My coworker was cracking up. She had just told me a story at lunch about a moose chilling in front of her house. I've only seen one (now two) wild moose since moving here. Everyone told me I'd see them all the time when I first got here. Their pants will soon be lit on fire. (because they're liars)

Luckily I had my camera in my purse. I keep it there because you just never know when a camera might come in handy and sometimes my iPhone camera just doesn't cut it.

Valentine's Day

The mister canNOT keep a secret. He can't help but drop hints while laughing mysteriously. He thinks he's being subtle with his hints, but really he's not. Me? I get overly excited when I know I have a great gift for someone. I was so excited about his present, I gave it to him a week early because I couldn't stand the anticipation.

The mister met me at work to have lunch with me before his shift. He came bearing the most beautiful bouquet of roses. I love the peacock feathers!

I thought that was it. But he hinted there was more. I thought he was messing with me so I tried not to dwell on it. When he got home from work he sat me on the couch and told me to close my eyes. When I opened them I found a Nook!!!!

We spoiled the crap out of each other this year!

I have a husband?

Will got stuck on a 7-7 shift this week. So I basically get to see him for maybe 15-20 minutes before and after work. He wakes up with me so he can warm up my car and hang out on the couch while I get ready. After work I rush clock out on the dot, run to my car, and speed home so I can see him for maybe 15-20 minutes while he gets ready for work.

THANK GOODNESS they finished their work early last night and he came home at 10. At least when he was on TDY he was away, as in not anywhere near me. I didn't realize how much worse it is when he is living here in the same apartment but we're not in the same place at the same time. It's like living with a ghost.

Bowling, Pool, Prison Break

The reason there haven't been any updates is Prison Break. It's on Netflix right now and neither of us have seen it, so it's the show we always watch together. That's all we did two weekends ago...we made it through the whole first season. We were on our way to doing it again this last weekend, but I made us get up and do something Saturday night.

We met up with the guys and went to Fridays for dinner. Then we went bowling. Ech & Will dominated! Will even broke a hundred haha! We would have played more games, but neon bowling was starting, and the guy at the counter was a jerk so I didn't want to deal with him again. Instead we went to shoot some pool and have some drinks. For the record, Ech & Will dominated AGAIN. But, we scratched every single time at the 8-ball. Yeah. It really happened every single game. The first three games, I scratched. Will did the last one. Mike and TJ never even had a chance to knock the 8-ball all night. (That's how far ahead we were.)

We got back to our Prison Break all day on Sunday. We didn't bother watching the charade of a football game they call the Pro Bowl.
